An Orton-Gillingham Approach to Reading and Writing

Bluebird provides individualized learning experiences, with the goal to empower students to develop their reading and writing skills. Follow the links below to learn more about The O.G. My Story

Nadia
Meet Nadia!
Founder of Bluebird Literacy LLC
I'm passionate about helping students feel confident and secure in themselves. My way of supporting students in this is to provide them with structured and explicit literacy instruction. As an Orton-Gillingham (O.G.) Associate-level practitioner, my mission is to create a supportive environment that will help students overcome literacy challenges. I believe that building a strong, caring relationship with students is the foundation for their success. I design and incorporate games and activities into my lessons with the goal to meet each student’s unique instructional needs and interests. I also prioritize open communication with families, offering both formal reports and informal updates to discuss your child’s progress. I’m here to address questions, alleviate concerns, or help find the right literacy resources for your child. I hope to partner with you to help ensure that your child receives the support they need to grow not only as readers but as people!

“We are incredibly grateful to have worked with Nadia. Her patience, kindness, and deep knowledge of the Orton-Gillingham (OG) method made a world of difference to our son. Nadia met our son exactly where he was at, adapting each session to his needs while keeping it fun, structured, and engaging. Nadia also took helpful data that we shared with his other academic providers. We are forever thankful for her willingness to travel to us and for making learning an enjoyable experience. Highly recommended!"
