Building a strong, caring relationship with students as a foundation for doing what often feels most challenging for them – Growing students’ literacy skills through the O.G. lesson – Creating games and activities through the O.G. lens that are engaging and meet students’ instructional needs – Communicating with families about student growth and the OG approach through formal reports and informal conversations – Answering parent questions, reassuring concerns, helping them find appropriate literacy resources – Creating online activities on platforms such as Seesaw for virtual sessions – Scheduling sessions, invoicing, tracking expenses by using organizational tools in Google Suite
